I was elated to learn that Barnes & Noble will carry my Vanishing Cuba Silver Edition book, beginning March 30. The book will be available for 24 hour delivery from BN.com or directly from their network of over 600 bookstores across the United States.
When I set out to create Vanishing Cuba more than two years ago, I was prepared for everything, or so I thought. I knew there would be months of photo editing, a year or more of writing, endless creative decisions, material selections, and so on.
Earlier this month, Shades of Grey sister magazine Shades of Color featured a comparable 32-page pictorial and interview. I was the first featured artist in this beautifully designed 238-page magazine for the second time.
THE GETTY Research Institute, Los Angeles, is the latest to acquire the Deluxe Edition of my book, Vanishing Cuba. What an honor! I have always admired the Getty Center for its dedication to excellence. Knowing that my book has found a home there and will forever be available to view and study is outstanding.
This week, Vanderbilt University added the Deluxe Edition of Vanishing Cuba to their Library’s permanent collection. I continue to be honored that more and more prestigious libraries across the country are buying my book.
Many thanks to Shades of Grey Fine Art Photography Magazine for featuring me on the cover of their publication and showcasing my black and white Cuba photography in a stunning 32-page pictorial and interview. It’s nice to be the first featured artist in this beautifully designed 238-page magazine.
