How amazing to find out that THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART bookstore will be stocking my VANISHING CUBA book.
It was a pleasure to hear that NYC’s SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS (SVA) acquired VANISHING CUBA for its library. SVA is a multidisciplinary college of art and design known for its unparalleled faculty and innovative curriculum.
We are pleased to announce that Paloma Celis Carbajal, the Curator for Latin American, Iberian, and U.S. Latino Collections, has acquired the VANISHING CUBA book for the NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY.
We have now directly shipped hundreds of books within the United States, and many to Canada, Australia, Egypt, Italy, Hong Kong, France, New Zealand, Mexico, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Croatia, Israel, Guatemala, India, and Argentina.
When I set out to create Vanishing Cuba more than two years ago, I was prepared for everything, or so I thought. I knew there would be months of photo editing, a year or more of writing, endless creative decisions, material selections, and so on.
COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY – Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library has purchased Vanishing Cuba for its permanent reference collection.
