It was a pleasure to hear that NYC’s SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS (SVA) acquired VANISHING CUBA for its library. SVA is a multidisciplinary college of art and design known for its unparalleled faculty and innovative curriculum.
I was excited to hear that BAYLOR UNIVERSITY, a private Baptist Christian research university in Waco, Texas, had ordered the RESERVE EDITION of my VANISHING CUBA book for their reference library collection. Established in 1845, Baylor is the oldest continuously operating university in Texas and one of the first educational institutions west of the Mississippi River in the United States.
In the spring on 2022, the UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH – Hillman Library ordered a signed copy of the VANISHING CUBA Silver Edition. Two months later, the curator for the Special Collections department ordered the Reserve Edition.
What an honor to have my first published book reside in the University of Cambridge Library in the United Kingdom. Many of you probably don’t know this, but this prestigious University (considered one of the top ten in the world) has over 100 libraries within its library system. Vanishing Cuba can be found in its Latin Studies Library.
This week, Vanderbilt University added the Deluxe Edition of Vanishing Cuba to their Library’s permanent collection. I continue to be honored that more and more prestigious libraries across the country are buying my book.
