In March, I donated a copy of the Vanishing Cuba Silver Edition to the Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP). After receiving many compliments about the book, LACP asked me if I would like to be an instructor (which I graciously accepted). An interview/presentation titled Inside Photography: Special Guest Preview with Michael Chinnici is set up for July 7, 2022. Next: I will lead a small group of LACP members in early December on a 9-day photography workshop in Cuba. And lastly, my virtual webinar on July 23, 2022, is called “Evoking Emotion and Storytelling through Documentary Photography with Michael Chinnici.”

RIZZOLI, THE FAMED ITALIAN PURVEYOR OF ART TOMES, FEATURES VANISHING CUBA IN THEIR ICONIC NYC STORE

Wow! After being featured in THE MET and the MoMA, we only needed Rizzoli New York for the Triple Crown. To see Vanishing Cuba, the creation of a first-time author (Michael Chinnici) and first-time publisher (Red Octopus Publishing) became a dream come true. After 24 photographic trips to Cuba, creating a stunning book became an obsession for Chinnici. We thank Rizzoli for seeing our passion and allowing us to grace your store’s bookcase.
