I am excited to announce that the University of Miami has purchased a copy of VANISHING CUBA for its permanent library collection. It will be included in its ‘Cuban Heritage Collection.’

Miami has the largest Cuban American population in the United States, and perhaps the largest concentration of Cubans outside Cuba. It’s an honor for my book to be part of the Cuban Heritage Collection.

More and more universities are expressing interest in the book, so look for more announcements.

My Vanishing Cuba book is indeed finding its way around the globe. Just imagine… New York University in Abu Dhabi. NYU Abu Dhabi is one of the most diverse campuses in the world. Their students come from 120 countries and speak more than 100 languages. I’m proud that they have acquired Vanishing Cuba for their library.

Wow!!! Thank you, Melanie Chapman, for writing such a wonderful review of my Vanishing Cuba book! And to quote the poet John Dunne… “The poet John Dunne wrote “No man is an island…”. Spend time experiencing Cuba through Chinnici’s insightful eyes, and you may be tempted to reply “…and no island is one man.”
