I was excited to hear that BAYLOR UNIVERSITY, a private Baptist Christian research university in Waco, Texas, had ordered the RESERVE EDITION of my VANISHING CUBA book for their reference library collection. Thank you, Baylor!
Established in 1845, Baylor is the oldest continuously operating university in Texas and one of the first educational institutions west of the Mississippi River in the United States. Located on the banks of the Brazos River next to I-35, between the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and Austin, the university’s 1,000-acre (400-hectare) campus is the largest Baptist university in the world. The university grants undergraduate and graduates degrees, including doctoral and professional degrees. It is classified among “R1: Doctoral Universities – Very High Research Activity”. As of fall 2021, Baylor had a total enrollment of 20,626 (undergraduate 15,191, graduate 5,435). Baylor University is ranked #77 out of 443 National Universities.

What an honor to have my first published book reside in the University of Cambridge Library in the United Kingdom. Many of you probably don’t know this, but this prestigious University (considered one of the top ten in the world) has over 100 libraries within its library system. I have always admired the Getty Center for its dedication to excellence. Knowing that my book has found a home there and will forever be available to view and study is outstanding.
VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY ACQUIRES THE VANISHING CUBA DELUXE EDITION
This week, Vanderbilt University added the Deluxe Edition of Vanishing Cuba to their Library’s permanent collection. I continue to be honored that more and more prestigious libraries across the country are buying my book.
