Welcome to my world since the beginning of the summer. Here I am working on my laptop surrounded by over 320 images on eight giant boards, which feature full-size images being considered for the Vanishing Cuba book. Carefully curated and paired up to replicate each spread in the book. Sometimes moving them around to end up with the best possible combinations. If you want to know what the book will look like, you need to see it, feel it, and live it.
This, of course, follows years and months of editing, production decisions, and design choices. It’s been an incredible journey. I was prepared for much of it, but I can now say that I never realized the sheer magnitude of this project. It took on a life of its own.
The book goes to press in exactly six weeks. I can’t wait for you all to see it!
