In the spring on 2022, the UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH – Hillman Library ordered a signed copy of the VANISHING CUBA Silver Edition. Two months later, the curator for the Special Collections department ordered the Reserve Edition.
How exciting to know that the book was so well received that a second copy – the collectors “Reserve Edition” was added to the Hillman Library.
Hillman Library is the largest and most extensive library and the center of administration for the University Library System (ULS) of the University of Pittsburgh. Hillman serves as the flagship of the University Library System, with approximately 7.1 million volumes. The University of Pittsburgh was established in 1787, just 11 years after the founding of the United States of America.

BAYLOR UNIVERSITY ACQUIRES THE VANISHING CUBA “RESERVE EDITION” BOOK
I was excited to hear that BAYLOR UNIVERSITY, a private Baptist Christian research university in Waco, Texas, had ordered the RESERVE EDITION of my VANISHING CUBA book for their reference library collection. Established in 1845, Baylor is the oldest continuously operating university in Texas and one of the first educational institutions west of the Mississippi River in the United States.
