UNIQUE PRINTING TECHNIQUE
The book’s color images are printed using a proprietary 7-color Spectra System to provide the most vibrant colors. The book’s black & white images are printed using a 2-black and 1-grey TriTone System, delivering superior b&w images with breathtaking results. Ultra-fine, dot-less, stochastic printing rounds out this magnificent work of art. Printing in 10 colors is a rarity among photography coffee table books. Thanks to the support of Heidelberg Press, Epple Inks in Germany, and Longo Press in Italy, we created a truly stunning book. Many have said that we “set the bar.”

From cover to cover, “Vanishing Cuba” is a masterpiece! The images are lush with color and emotion. The Black & Whites are filled with detail and are engaging. The words enhance each scene. The printing and binding are of very high quality. It is quite evident a great deal of planning went into the creation of “Vanishing Cuba”. It is quite evident Michael Chinnici’s heart and soul are on every page. This photo book will be a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection!

Vanishing Cuba is just a marvelous tome. It is exceptionally well curated, and the quality of the printing and the book itself are outstanding. It clearly shows the dedication to excellence that Michael Chinnici had in producing it. Having been to Cuba twice I can attest that it beautifully captures the people of Cuba as well as the country itself. If one has not been to Cuba, it will make you want to go. Vanishing Cuba is a book that should be on every coffee table. I could not recommend this book more.

OMG- What can I say! Nothing usually makes me speechless but I believe this has! When I received the book, all I could say is “what is in here, it’s so heavy! Then I opened it and right out of the box I remember saying “WOW” And as I started turning the pages each photo was more beautiful than the one before. Now I couldn’t wait to look at the whole book but of course, that can’t be done in one sitting, so we are taking our time with each and every page, taking in all of the beautiful vibrant photos along with the stories of each photo. They are amazing. I never really thought of Cuba as a place that I would like to go visit but seeing it through your eyes has made me want to go. I love reading about the Cuban culture and literally seeing their everyday lives come to life. We have two friends that are from Cuba, for who we also bought books. I can’t wait for them to get their copies. I’m sure some childhood memories will come flooding back to them. Michael your work is outstanding, like always, and we wish you the very best on this gorgeous table book.

This book is GORGEOUS! Let’s just start with the book itself, made from the highest quality materials, the substantial size and the number of pages make it the most interesting book on my coffee table. You can’t walk by it without stopping to check it out. I have been to Cuba a few times and as soon as I opened Vanishing Cuba, I was transported right back to Havana. Michael Chinnici’s photography is spectacular, with each image capturing the true essence of Cuba – the warm, friendly people, the beautiful tropical island and the historical story each building has to tell. I highly recommend this book for the photography, the stories and the moment in time it captures – you will LOVE IT!

First of all, when the package came in I wasn’t sure what it was. I had forgotten that I had pre-ordered the book. The package was heavy, I was sure whatever was inside must be expensive. When I opened the package I finally understood and remembered. It lived up to my expectations and more. I did not expect the quality of the book to be at such a high level. Holding it, even just looking at it evokes a sense of importance and passion that was put into it. And the same can be said about the photos. This book will probably take me years to get through as I try to soak in every image. And I am very happy about that!
